Gabriel Fonseca

Gabriel Fonseca is the Training and Development Specialist at NILP. He is an experienced Manager, Consultant, and Trainer who specializes in promoting healthy individuals, families, and communities. He has over 10 years of experience leading and training professionals in the human service sector. Gabriel enjoys the entire training experience, yet most of all, he appreciates the stories and feelings that others share during the learning experience, and helping people to use their stories to grow and develop as professionals. Gabriel has a B.A. in Psychology and a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies.

Sheila Hegarty

Sheila Hegarty is the Training and Special Events Coordinator at NILP. She has worked with consumers in crisis, program development and implementation along with training for about 20 years. She has designed and conducted trainings for state and local government agencies, institutes of higher education, and local community organizations. Sheila has faced inequality and fought against institutional discrimination because she understands the importance of the peer voice. Sheila is also a motivational speaker and author. Sheila has a B.A. in Government and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice.

June Sauvageau

June Sauvageau is the Executive Director at NILP. She came on board in 2008, guiding the organization through its transitional phase and significantly expanding its services. June has over 30 years of experience in managerial roles in human services, health care and education. As a former adjunct graduate faculty member at Northeastern University, education is very important to June. Whenever she can find time in her busy schedule, she loves leading disability education trainings at NILP. June is an advocate and leader for the empowerment of individuals in their work lives and in their community. June holds a B.S. in Education and a Master of Science in Management.
